Does anyone ever feel very bored with life?
I feel bored all the time =/ I'm not sad or anything, but i'm not happy or excited...i'm just bored. I am actually really happy with my life, like I love my family and friends to death, but I just never feel like I'm having fun. The most fun I've had in the past year was going to a really awesome and LOUD concert. It was the best day of my life x) and now I just want to go to concerts because I feel like i need loud music and excitement to feel alive. Does that sound really stupid? I don't know... has anyone else ever felt like this? And do you know how I can fix it?

I also just kind of feel like no one really cares about me except for my family and some of my friends. Not that they hate me, just that I'm like...invisible to everyone. =/

I doubt that you are bored in your life but just need some suspense. In other words, you know you can go out or go do something but you probably don't want to. You need to have some good work ethic and positive thinking. In other words, a good work ethic so you have a routine and positive thinking so you can improve your chances of making your day go by fast. If you don't have any of those, then you will feel guilty and bored like you said. You will feel left out, just like you're saying to yourself.
Don't think work ethic means to work or go find a job, it doesn't mean that at all. It can also be applied to society as well. For example, if you like music, go to a music store with a friend or by yourself and check out the latest new releases from your favorite artists. It don't mean you are going to purchase any of em but keeping your mind in check, that's important. If not music, then do sme shores with loud music. You see what I'm saying? Check what you wanna do or are good at, if its going out or going to a club, or a concert, or a movie, etc. Make it a daily routine in your life but not everyday, is basically finding out what you like to do best than what you are not accustomed to doing it.
Positive thinking, on the other hand, is positive reinforcement. What it states is that while you may bored, work on your status of what you think is best for you. It can be anything, if you are working on a shore, have a good mood working on it. Don't be upset or alerted when confronting it. It can be difficult and complicated, can make you question what you do, just like you said. Like look at your example, to a concert. You had positive thinking and enjoyed the experience, maybe do plan another concert at a later time. You like it so go for it. Do what you think can help benefit you, not what you think is detrimental or a waste of time.
You don't always need to be bored for what you do, it takes patience and productivity. Do what you like best and if you are trying something new, have a good positive thought about it. Enjoy it and be curious, because if its not, then you won't pay attention and it won't matter to you in the end. Do what you like and of importance, you have friends. You ain't bored, you just don't know what to do and trust me, I've been through it.
For example, I like giving advice to people based on my experience and what I know for a fact. That's my work ethic and I also study, play games, go out, gamble, etc. I have options and so forth but is my attitude that makes my day go faster. I also like sports, college football and I can see that now but like I said, I have options, many options.
A good work ethic often leads to a good attitude, it can make you strive and be a better worker in the working place, trust me, I have experience on it.

I know how you feel...I'm not always unhappy, but it often feels like life is just about filling up your time, finding things to do to distract yourself from how empty it really is. Ha sorry to sound kinda depressing...but yeah, that's all I can ever do really, find things to do. :/
Be spontaneous sometimes and just do something new, exciting, and different, like something you've never done before. Or if you don't already have a boyfriend/gf try going out and dating, meet new people. For me that's always a good distraction.

I agree with you and a lot of people feel just like you. I feel that there's a lot of loneliness in my life and I feel empty most of the time. Some times I feel like I want to shout and other times I feel like I want to cry.
I wish you and I could meet. Maybe then we can make it easy for eachother!

I sometimes feel the same way. My mom smokes, my sis hangs with friends, my dad is seperating with my mom. Try to find new things to do. Ride your bike with friends, gossip, sleepovers, make new friends!!
