Yes, they are the 30 Seconds to Mars symbols! I'm doing an art project, concerning outer space and am considering incorporating them into my project, except I know I should understand more about them first. As far as I know, the symbols represent the first four planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. My question: Is that correct, and what culture did these symbols come from? Or were they simply designed by someone for the band? Thank you in advance for answers :)

I need some help! I have very long, very thick hair right now. It is wavy/curly and just poofs out a lot sometimes and can be a bit difficult to manage, but keeping it long makes it work out okay. The problem: I HATE long hair!!! I just want to have short hair! x) I love the curls, but I hate the poof! Is there any way I can get it cut so that is doesn't look to poofy or any products I can use that could help it look thinner while still keeping it curly?

I find that people who follow a specific religion are often disrespectful of the followers of a different religion, even though most religions are based off of the same ideas. Do you have a religion, and do you respect people with different beliefs than you have?

My cat just died...well she was my sister's cat. And she was only 5 years old, she was the sweetest thing you could imagine, and today she just died of kidney failure. I learned of it this morning, and I just couldn't bring myself to cry. I've never actually been that much of a cryer, I only cry if I'm in really bad physical pain, which makes me feel unbelievably selfish. Obviously I miss this cat so much...she was a huge part of the family, she had such a personality, but I just am not crying. My sister, who is 18, came home and found out and burst into tears.

I just feel like I don't feel things much anymore...I'm only 15, going to be 16 in two weeks. I am really upset, don't get me wrong, and I want to cry. I wish I could cry, I really wish I could. I just can't. Has anyone else experienced something like this? How do you feel things like you did when you were little again?

I'm 15 and I've actually never kissed anyone, or even had a boyfriend. I've had a few opportunities, but they were with guys I don't really like and who I know only want one thing. Haha, what about you?

People often say "You lied to me!" if someone kept something from them. But I'm wondering what you guys think...I've never really thought that that should be considered lying. Not that it's justifiable or anything, just that it is a completely different thing. I mean, if someone asked you if you were hiding something and you said no, when you actually were, then THAT would be lying. But I believe that there is a difference between blatantly lying and hiding something.

Do you regret getting a tattoo? Why?

I am female, and I want to get a tattoo in the future. I don't care if you say it makes you look like a slut, I don't want a tramp stamp and I'm not getting a tattoo just for the sake of getting one. The tattoo I want is meaningful and representational to me. That being said, what do you think of women having real, meaningful tattoos? (And in a place that won't stretch out!) I know a lot of guys and just people in general don't like women having tattoos, and I am wondering why.

I'm trying to decide where I should go to college. (I'm 15, so I have plenty of time to figure it out!) But I decided I would love to live in a city. I'm sort of familiar with New York City, I visit my aunt and uncle there sometimes. And I love how beautiful and busy it is. But I am more familiar with Alexandria, in virginia. It is a really nice city, and very close to Washington, DC, which I love to visit. But I live in New England, so New York is pretty close to where I live, and DC is pretty far away. I'm also interested in Providence Rhode Island, or maybe going to Roger Williams college, it's just so nice there.

I want to study art and art history, and I know that both New York and around DC have great places for that. I know that Providence has excellent places to study art and theater as well, but does Roger Williams college have good study programs for that? I would love to go to any of those places, but I just don't know. If you were in my position, where would you rather live and study?

I'm thinking of trying out for my high school's spring musical either this year or next year. I'm not sure what the play will be, so the song I'm thinking of trying out with could change, but I was thinking of singing "Out Tonight" from Rent. I've been practicing it and I'm getting better, and it shows off the vocal range nicely. The only problem is that it's a little suggestive. In the play, the woman who sings it is an exotic dancer and the lyrics sort of reflect that.

Personally, I don't like it, but I know that it is often necessary. For example, a young girl who gets raped and impregnated should be allowed an abortion, because no one should have to go through that when it is not their fault. And some people try to abort their own baby.... and have been killed or terribly injured in the process. If it's a teen or an adult who sleeps around, I think they should not get the baby aborted and should take responsibility for their actions.... but it is their choice. I hate the idea of abortion, but I know that some people badly need it, and because of that, I am Pro-Choice.

How about you? Do you think that it is wrong to abort a baby in any circumstance, or do you think that it is often necessary? Pro-life or Pro-Choice? I'm very interested to hear your opinions!

I'm trying to figure it out for a school project. If a religion is polytheistic (believing in more than one god) what does it show about the morals or their culture? Any help is appreciated :) Thank you!

I feel bored all the time =/ I'm not sad or anything, but i'm not happy or excited...i'm just bored. I am actually really happy with my life, like I love my family and friends to death, but I just never feel like I'm having fun. The most fun I've had in the past year was going to a really awesome and LOUD concert. It was the best day of my life x) and now I just want to go to concerts because I feel like i need loud music and excitement to feel alive. Does that sound really stupid? I don't know... has anyone else ever felt like this? And do you know how I can fix it?

I read the books, and they were really awesome. The movie looks ok except everyone is the wrong age and they added a love interest, who looks like she should be on disney. I thought these movies were going to be that awesome thriller story that they were in the book, but it looks like it's gonna be a cruddy Disney-ish version. Which sucks :[
