What does a belief in polytheism show about a religion?

I'm trying to figure it out for a school project. If a religion is polytheistic (believing in more than one god) what does it show about the morals or their culture? Any help is appreciated :) Thank you!

A polytheistic belief gives a solution to the omnipotent god problem.

"If god is so great why is there evil"

The ancients approached the unknown like a detectives. They saw things in the world that they didn't understand & attributed it to a god or goddess & attempted to appease them. History show that polytheistic cultures such as Egyptian were a highly moral people very dedicated to their worship.

it shows that, as all humans are, the people of that culture are searching for a God, a higher meaning and purpose to life, proof that there is more to just living and rotting in the dirt. it shows that people are not satisfied with earthly and mundane daily life, that we all search for something greater. a belief in polytheism shows people are looking for an absolute dictator of moral principles, and perhaps says that religion is just a man-made creation, a manifestation of our endless search for meaning.

Basically, it shows its a false belief system. There is only one ture God, even if that means God is plural.
