MY ITOUCH DOESN'T LET ME UNLOCK IT!!?

well i went to use my ipod and i pished my code in, it's been the same for almost a year, anyway it keeps saying wrong! it locked me out this last time for 60 minutes. IDK what is going on, i KNOW that i didn't change it! my kids wouldn't know how! so what is wrong? i dont want to reset it and lose everything, that is way to inconvinient! so what can i do???

    "iTouch" is an SD card for modifying the Nintendo DSi. I didn't know you can lock and unlock those
