What should I buy; MW2 Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Elite, or PS3?
READ THIS
I can't decide between the Limited Edition Modern Warfare Xbox 360 Elite, or the Xbox 360 Elite.
Cause to be honest, I like the original Xbox 360 Elite's design better than the MW2 Bundle, because of it's simple look and it's chroming.
But the MW2 Bundle has more value. It comes with a 250GB HDD and two controllers and Modern Warfare 2.
So I'm pretty stuck.
Also.
Okay. Decmember is about to come out and I might get a Xbox 360 Elite, Ps3 slim, Modern Warfare Limited Edition Xbox 360, or Ps3 160 GB but I need your help.
I am a BIG gamer and loves games. Right now im siding with the Xbox 360 but i need your opinion
What im looking for in a system:
Great graphics
Great exclusives
GOOD online experience (dont mind paying)
I'm going to be playing games like GTA 4, Cod, ect.
Backwards combatibalty
Reliable
Good future
Powerful
Best SOFTWARE
And great for MEDIA (Although I might not be doing this stuff)
Netflix
I really want a good and great system.
I'm worried of the xbox 360 cause of the lack of hardware and just software like built in WIFI and blu ray. And I want a powerful system with a good GPU and CPU. And the graphics might be not as good. But the controller is really really awesome. And I like the dashboard better than XMB.
I'm worried of the PS3 cause of no halo, no left 4 dead, no gears, no good DLC for games like GTA 4, VERY VERY BAD controller, and NO SOFTWARE BUT JUST HARDWARE. The controller is a big issue for me too because it feels tiny.
Please help me with this and answer back!
*And say why it is important also*

This message is coming from a guy who owns and plays both systems as well as 27 other ones and been playing for 30 years. I am a fanboy of no system so I’m telling you straight because I play games for the games themselves, I don’t play because of a name on the system itself.
Sony recently dropped the ps3 price to 299. I will compare it to a 360 elite since its microsofts highest end 360 system and is priced the same as the ps3.
Ps3 has built in included wifi connection for wireless internet, the 360 does not. It will cost you another 100 bucks to buy an addon for the 360 to get wifi. (do note ps3 also includes ethernet for a wired internet connection also so you get both).
Ps3 has bluetooth and usb ports for flash drives, keyboard, mice, microphones, headsets, earpieces and so on, the 360 has neither nor can you add them on.
Ps3 has 100% free online gaming, the 360 charges you a annual fee to play any game online or even have a friends list. Ps3 also has something called Home which is 100% free and optional to use where you make a character and run through a virtual world with other people, chat, check out themed areas like a resident evil 5 area with mini games, trailers playing on big screens, an apartment you get to own and decorate and its constantly being added onto. Think of Home as kind of like The Sims only it a city about games only it has alot of other people in it also with you.
Ps3 can play blu ray high def movies and has a really good upconvert on dvds, 360 can only play normal dvds and doesnt improve their picture any. Its also kind of cool I can take a movie I download on my pc, stick it on a usb flash drive, plug it into my ps3 and watch it on my bigger tv right off the flash drive. Can pause, fast forward, frame rate change, zoom in and out and use other options like you can on a dvd from the ps3 video menu.
Not to mention the ps3 runs dead quiet vs a 360 which is quite loud. And ps3 is known for being a pretty problem free machine while 360 even to this day still suffers from hardware problems, hell gamestop stopped taking extended warranties on them (don’t know if they do again now or not) because so many people were bringing them back with problems.
Far as games go both systems have 90% of the exact same games. All big names games like megaman 9, wolfenstein, bioshock 1 & 2, borderlands, dead rising 2, beatles rockband, ghostbusters, bayonetta, call of duty 4, fallout 3, rock band 5, grand theft auto 4, modern warfare 2, brutal legend, marvel vs capcom 2, batman arkahm asylum, madden 10, assassins creed 2 and so on are on both systems and will continue to be on both.
Each year the list of exclusive games gets smaller. But personally the games on the ps3 that are exclusive I like better and have more of a variety to them. Killzone 2, MAG, final fantasy 13 versus, demons souls, uncharted 1 and 2, little big planet, flower, god of war 3, gran turismo 5, super stardust hd, metal gear solid 4, resistance 1 and 2, ratchet and clank a crack in time and tools of destruction, infamous, heavy rain among another dozen titles coming out in the next year that are ps3 only I like better. If you like MMO type games ps3 is only system to announce ones coming out for it, the two being DC universe online and Final Fantasy 14 online. But all big name big production games will be on both systems.
And well, I personally like the ps3 controllers better. They feel more comfortable in my hands, the D-Pad is more precise because the 360 d-pad is just a disc and sometimes pushing up registers as left or right, and the batteries are rechargeable in it I that like so when it gets low I just plug in a usb to mini-usb cable in the front of the ps3 and it charges while I play so I don’t have to buy batteries for it, after 2 years of use my controller still holds its charge like it did new.
I’m not anti 360, I just prefer my ps3 more, and more or less just get games for my 360 when it’s a exclusive for the 360.

Hi There, I have the Xbox 360 Elite 120 GB HDD and I find it very easy and cool to use and I just wanted to tell you buy the Xbox 360 Elite 120 GB HDD, you won't need 250 HDD unless you are going to download like 50 games, over 5,000 photos, 750 videos and 2,000 tracks. Its a waste of money to get the new Xbox 360 with 250 GB HDD with huge memory which i am sure nobody would use, even if they are really big gamers! About the PlayStation 3; it's also a great console but it doesn't have as many games as the Xbox 360 like Halo 3 which I find a great game and Grand Theft Auto which is a favorite! The graphics of the PlayStation 3 is like the Xbox 360 so don't listen to the other people who argue about the graphics! You can buy the PlayStation 3 next Christmas if you can't afford to get them both, also the PlayStation 4 is coming out round 2012 so there is absolutely no point in getting the PlayStation 3 now and spending over £300 for nothing; but its your choice I not going to tell you what to buy, but i would go with the Xbox 360 Elite 120 GB HDD! PS. The Xbox 360 has a better cooling system than the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 has a very quite engine; one more thing... you have much more game choices than the PlayStation 3. Once Again its your choice of what you buy, but I would still go with the Xbox 360 120 GB HDD. Thanks for listening and watching! Bye!

I'd say your best bet would be to buy yourself a kick a** gaming computer. If you are a big gamer that loves games as you say you do, then a PC blows any console away on any given day. A PC has many advantages over a console as far as graphics, online gaming, and backwards compatibility to some extent on some games. The only disadvantage to a premium gaming PC could be the price, a great gaming machine costs considerably more than a console, but the price is definately worth it.
PCs are far more durable and reliable than a console as well as having the flexability of upgradeability. When it comes to power, a good gaming PC with the latest CPU, chipsets and graphics cards can outperform any console on the market. As far as exclusive games and software, well there are just some PC games that a console would never be able to handle due to hardware requirements, processing demands, etc. A PC really shows the limitations of the consoles when put side to side. For example, I have several games in the Total War series that an X-Box 360 or PS3 could probably not handle due to the fact that so many things are happening at once, that the consoles couldn't process all of that information at one time.
Real gaming happens on PCs not on consoles in my opinion.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Bundle/Console is a great deal in its self. You get the mega huge 250GB HDD. Then two black controllers and the game. I wish I could put together the cash to buy one before they are gone! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FRMI34?ie=UTF...

the mw2 console is the best it already comes with the one of the best fps's and its good value. personally i would not recommend a ps3 if you like games like cod because the controls and really bad for shooting games.

PS3. If you are a serious gamer, read game informer. In many issues it's said that microsoft has had many problems. Such as in issue 200 it said something like 60% of 360's crash.
