Hello. If you are not sick, the first thing that comes to mind is some pulled inter-costal muscles. These are the muscles that sit in between your ribs. It can be quite painful. If you have a cough or are not feeling quite yourself other than the pain, go to the doctor. It very well could be an infection or inflammation of the pleura(this is a thin covering that sits over your lungs). Either way, you will be just fine. For now, avoid physical activity. If it is your inter-costal muscles, rest is the way to go and perhaps some ice would help. Feel better soon and I hope that this has been helpful.
