NHS Scotland's independence from NHS England?
I know these are two separate organizations, but i also know they co-operate and co-ordinate, so how likely is it that a critically ill scottish child would be sent to great ormand street hospital, in relation to a critically ill english child, assuming that great ormand street hospital had a speciallist unit for the illness.

Well, it's different in the 2 countries, so they would recieve the same treatment in the hospital, regardless of nationality, however - you would be more likely to be better off getting treated in Scotland due to the number of drugs they recieve that are denied to English patients - becuase Scotland recieves higher spending per head.

If the medical facilities are not available in one country, then that country will ask another which does have the available facilities to help. This help will normally be given regardless of country if the facility in question has the space to take a patient. It is, therefore, quite possible that someone could be sent from Scotland to Great Ormond Street.
Bob... every time I see your name I'm going to ask again for proof of this accusation that any SNP member has ever said Scotland should continue to receive payments post independence. My email's open; use it if you're too spineless to admit openly that it's a figment of your imagination. Either that or someone was winding you up. It's clearly not difficult to do. And just so you are aware, NHS Scotland has been a separate organisation since long before devolution. It has been funded independently for years. Different organisation, same NHS.

This is a question that you will never get Scottish Nationalists to answer!Heaven knows I have tried.
You will never get Alex Salmond to answer this very question as to whether Scotland still expects the English taxpayer to still keep paying into the kitty after independence.
For my part independence means just that;A complete separation;A different health service for England and Scotland.
