I was on birth control for about a year, but I smoke so they wont prescribe it to me now. I am worried about being pregnant... I am waiting to get my period now, but I know that if you get it, then it doesn't mean that you aren't pregnant. So i just want to know my chances. please help

Withdrawal (pull out) is not an effective method of birth control. Of women using the withdrawal method for one year, approximately 25% will get pregnant sometime during the course of that year. In fact, it is possible to get pregnant the very first time that you use withdrawal

Pulling Out or the Withdrawal Method Only - The withdrawal method can create a high possibility of pregnancy. The pre-ejaculate contains the most potent sperm. Putting the penis in, even if only for a moment, can create pregnancy if you are close to ovulating or ovulating. Having sex without a condom puts both partners at high risk for sexual disease. Protect yourself and your partner by always using a condom.

Birth Control Pills Only - Using birth control pills alone can create a high possibility of pregnancy. Taking antibiotics, drinking heavily, or forgetting to take two birth control pills consecutively can cause the birth control pill to lose effectiveness and for pregnancy to occur.

Condoms Only - Condoms alone can create a high possibility of pregnancy. Condoms can break, tear, leak and have a high user error rate when used by teens. A condom is always better than nothing as it will protect you from some of sexually transmitted diseases. Anyone of any age can purchase condoms. Each partner has the responsibility to provide this protection.

Chances are always high when you have unprotected sex.Even higher when he finishes inside. You can get pregnant when you are on birthcontrol as well, and yes you can also be pregnant if you are still getting a period.I had a period til I was almost 3 months along with my 3 daughters so it is very possible. If you are worried about being pregnant(or don't want to become pregnant) I would Strongly suggest using protection and you should be able to get the depo shot. I smoked cigarettes and was on the depo shot and had no problems, and the doctor knew I smoked and said it was perfectly fine. So I would advise asking about getting on that and using a condom if you want to prevent pregnancy.

    Good Luck

To give you an honest answer: women who are trying to get pregnant and time everything perfectly with sex and ovulation have a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant each month, at the highest odds.

However, you are taking a HUGE risk by not having any protections. Are you over 35? because smoking while on birth control doesn't cause any risks until you are 35...go see another doctor, yours is an idiot.

And yes, if you get your period on time and it lasts a normal length and heaviness then you aren't pregnant. Women who get "periods" while pregnant aren't getting actual periods...they are getting something similar but it never comes on time and it is almost always lighter.

If you don't want to get pregnant you need to use some form of birth control...whether you find a doc who'll give you the pill or get back on condoms, you need something otherwise you have to expect that you will get pregnant every time you have sex.

Your chances of being pregnant are pretty good. A doctor can still prescribe birth control to you. My sister in law smokes and takes it. She's just at a higher risk for stuff like stroke and blood clot. Maybe switch to a different doctor. If you don't want to get pregnant, use a condom or get on birth control even if you have to quit smoking for it.

There is a good chance that you can get pregnant. A man leaks semen almost the entire time during sex, just because he did not finish without the condom does not mean that he did not secrete.

You have a very high chance of getting pregnant with unprotected sex. I'm surprised you're not pregnant already. I used to be on the pills and nobody ever had a problem with me smoking. Quit smoking and get on the pills.

You can get pregnant even when you use birth control.... I have a beautiful three month old daughter as proof. If you are not using any protection whatsoever I would say you have a very high chance of being pregnant.

Infertility, like any disease, is simply a sign that something is not right inside the body and must be fixed. How to reverse infertility https://tr.im/L9rPE

I have worked with a lot of women on this issue, and have seen very few health related problems that cause such pain and anxiety as wanting to have a child and not being able to. The good news is that all the women who I have worked with who have changed diet and lifestyle factors have eventually conceived.

Yes, you could be pregnant, but it could be Stress or other medical problems. See your doctor to ensure there are no other health problems and get a blood test for pregnancy while you're at the Doctor.

Read this article regarding the different Pregnancy Tests, perhaps it

will help you understand the different methods a little easier:

Oh, yes, you are doing it exactly right to get pregnant. If you can't take BC. (and stop smoking; you know better) ALWAYS use a condom unless you are shooting for a baby.

And yes, if you get your period, you are not pregnant, not unless you have two uteri.

Please read my review of Trojans....It has some other things you should consider.
