    well good music like those bands sort of disappeared around the same time that fat little 12 year olds and horny little 10 years olds started shopping at hottopic. it all disapeared at the same time that [i love it too] twilight got every girl from age 5- 14 all hot and flustered and into "vampires" so of course bands like tokyo hotel are apparently the **** and green day and smashing pumpkins along with the ramones and pearl jam are much too old to even be appreciated. im only 16 and the music i love and will always listen to is now playing on the "oldies station" yep. sorry hunn but good music is old news. now its nothing but little gay boys in tight pants singing with thier little whinney voices.... but they arent like queen and openly gay. they are hidding it and pissing every one who likes good music off.

  • I'm taken aback by your question. here i was thinking you were gonna mention awesome as bands like led Zeppelin, Judas priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Deep Purple, ect;

    limp biscuit? Blink 18suck? Surely in your mind they are that "awesome" to you, but that era of pop rock and so-called punk has gone the way of the ford pinto honey. Of course todays rock radio stations still play all this mainstreem garbage like fallout boy and my chemical romance, but the best rock music can be heard if you would dig around and search for it. Hell even today i keep re-discovering great stuff from the late sixties and early seventies, obscure bands from the early nineties, and stuff from the eighties!

    So go dig around, just cause its not on the radio or MTV doesnt mean it sucks.

    Unfortunately, in the past. The 90s had some great (and possibly the only) grunge. I don't understand why the "popular" style of music has to change so rapidly. What happened to the amazing sounds of the 70s?

    In the past, it happens to every band but most make a come back (even if its just their music and not them). like limp bizkit played at download festival? most people i know were exited to see them.

    well sept me, think is was the same time as motley crue <3 great example dont you think? lol x

    The bands you listed aren't the "Awesome rock and punk"... the real bands were in the 80's and early 90's.
