1. To find to measure of angle BAD use the law of cosines
BD^2 = AB^2 + AD^2 - 2 * AB * AD * cos BAD
cos BAD = ( AB^2 + AD^2 - BD ^2 ) / ( 2 * AB * AD )

2. ( x - ( -4 + i ) ) * ( x - ( -4 - i ) )
Use i^2 = -1 to simplify
3. sin (4/3*pi) = -1/2
4. ( sqrt(3) ) / 3 * -1/2 = -( sqrt (3) ) / 6 ( did you mean sin(4/3*pi) ? )
5. sqrt(3)
6. ( sqrt(3) ) /3
