Please help--trig/algebra 2?!?

1. In parallelagram ABCD, AD=8, AB=12, and diagonal BD=15. Find measure of angle BAD to the nearest degree?

2. If the roots of a quadriatic equation are -4+i and -4-i what could the equation be?

3. What is the exact value of sin (4(pie)/3) ?

4. Express (Cos(pie/3)) x (sin(3pie/4)) in simplest radical form?

5. Express tan(4pie/3) in terms of sine and cosine, then in simplest radical form?

6. Express tan(pie/6) in terms of sine and cosine, then in simplest radical form?

7. What are the exact coordinates that an angle with a measure of 2pie/3 radians meet a circle of radius 3?

8. What are the exact coordinates that an angle with a measure of 150 degrees meets a cirle of radius 12?

9. Find the area of a circle if an angle of 2pie/7 radians meets an arc of 12 centimeters?

10. Explain the difference between the "initial Side" of an angle and its "terminal side"?

11. If 1/2x+6=-x-3 what is the vlue of -2x?

Thanks guys

And PS i didn't just copy the homework onto this, these are questions from a entire review i didn't get.

    1. apply the cosine law on the 3 sides

    15^2=12^2+8^2-(12)(8)cosx

    obtain x=79.8 degrees

    2. use this quadratic formula: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_V8KsSIiGjBk/SsACMEj73KI/...

figure out that b=4, a=1/2, and so (b^2-4ac) must be equal to -1 for the formula to work out. this gives you that c=8.5

so equation is 0.5x^2+4x+8.5=0. test it out and you should get those answers.

    3. the exact value is -sqrt(3)/2, it's just one of those things I remembered, you can work it out using one of the special triangles...or graph it

    4. since we have 3, we know also that cos(pi/3)=1/2, so the simplest form would be -sqrt(3)/4

    5. tan=sin/cos, so tan (4*pi/3)=sin(4*pi/3)/cos(4*pi/3)

in radical form it is sqrt(3)

    6. same thing as #5, i'll let u give it a try.

7.think of it as a right ahnd triangle, with the angle being 2*pi/3, hypotenuse 3. we know that for a right triangle with one angle 2*pi/3, the adjacent length is 1/2 the opposite side, using this:

    x^2+(2x)^2=3^2

    solve for x=sqrt(9/5), then y=2x=2*sqrt(9/5)..

    8. same theory here, except it's a triangle that's got an angle of 180-150=30, which means x coordinate is twice as long as y coordinate

    y^2+(2y)^2=12^2

    y=5.366, x=2*y=10.73

    9. ..i don't quite understand thsi question, it seems to me if they just want to find the area of the circle, the 2pi/7 information is extra and not needed. it'll just be the radius 12, pi*r^2...

    10. http://www.mathwords.com/t/terminal_side_of_an_ang...

    11. solve for x, x=-6, so -2x=12

once you remedy it, you get the factored type of 0 = (x - 3)(x + 4) With that there is two recommendations, 3 and -4, yet you ought to plug them into the unique equation and spot if it works out. They do artwork out. the only 2 recommendations are 3 and -4.
