How did you get your avatar to show up here in Y7 answers?

Question

I'm older and pretty up in technology buy can't seem to figure this one out. I ended up on a yahoo site to make an avatar, made it, saved it and thought it would just appear here.....

didn't happen.

Probaby a duh for most of you but if you could make some suggestions for the steps I could take, I'd be very thankful!

Avatars.
Go to your profile page 
a) Click edit my info.
b) Click edit my avatar.
c) Follow instructions.
d) Preview.
e) Save.

Avatar Photos.
If you want a photo avatar then go to your profile at http://profiles.yahoo.com and upload an image there. Click on "Change Photo" and upload one or more. Select the one you want to use

Yeah, you would get more answers. But asking a funny question like this can't hurt either. The problem is the Yamster will delete your hot avatar. I know somebody whose 360 page was raided of pictures just because she photographed well in a tight blouse. Buncha prudes around here. Even 13 year olds laugh at these school marm fogies, but what are ya gonna do?

You need to save it then it should appear. If it doesnt then you need to go to your proflile and look at your picture you have now and click browse. Then you will see your avatar then click on it and it will be all done.

u probaly did upload the picture but u didnt actually click on it! =D dats wat i did... so i went back, clicked on the picture i uploaded and them pressed ok! and will automatically show up after that operation! ;D
