Can I provide my own cable box for Comcast On Demand?

I recently had Comcast On Demand installed on one television. Now that the "hard" stuff has been completed, can I buy my own cable boxes for my other Hi-Def tvs and install easily?

You can buy your own set-top boxes, but You still need to get CableCards from Comcast

No. You need two-way communication with the Comcast head end in order to get On Demand. 3rd party cable boxes with CableCards are one-way only and cannot perform the required two-way communication.

There's a newer (than CableCard) system called "tru2way" which can do 2-way communication, but Comcast doesn't support it.
