Charging laptop in airplane ?
I am a frequent flyer in economy class in various airlines and always have the problem of charging the laptop cause 99% of the time they say we don't have the socket for laptop charging.
I was wondering every seat have that power supply to listen to music and some have another socket ( I couldn't figure out whats that for) which we may be able to use using some special adaptor to convert into laptop power supply.
If anyone knows how to charge laptop in airplane (while you don't have a regular socket) I would greatly appreciate your comment.

In order to know if your laptop can be charged on a plane, you will have to know the type of plane you are traveling on. The power sources/supplies are different for each plane. I check the flight to see what type of plane is going to be used for my trip and then visit the Seat Guru to determine where I need to sit and what type of adapter if any is available. Here is the site:

They also have some links to power supply manufacturers. More than likely you will need to purchase and after market adapter to use on the plane. I hope this helps.

It is not a provided service. If you ask the cabin attendants they will not do it either because it may be a security risk. Just sit back and watch the movie or read. If you are on a trans Pacific 15 hr flight then take two batteries

It's very easy. It's the black wide socket. You can use that. It's usually under the seat.
