Can I repierce an old piercing?

I've had my ears pierced for 5 years, my mom took me to a salon to get them done with a gun before we knew better. Anyways, I've stretched them to 2ga and then decided I didn't want to be that person anymore, so I let them shrink back down. But now, one of the holes is significantly lower than the other one.

Do you think it's possible for me to get another piercing above the old one and not have it migrate into the lower one? I mean, get a new hole in the correct spot and then try to ignore the old one. I'm just afraid that if I did that, it would make a big mess of my earlobe

the way u explain it i dont see that it would be a problem but it also sounds like the old hole is wide wouldnt that be obvious? maybe if u did do this a larger earing or "dangling" type would cover or concel the lower hole.
