    As everybody has told you so far, using a scanner is your best choice, however....what happen if you dont have one and in a hurry?......take a picture with your cell and e-mail it to e-mail account.....not the best but it works!

    scan the photo into a photo editing program, then save it from there as a .jpeg or whatever suits your needs
