It was created in the 1960's by a convicted felon and radical, it doesn't even embody the culture of African Americans (the word "Kwanzaa" is taken from Swahili, which is spoken in East Africa –– almost all African Americans living in the United States are descended from West Africans) and it's just completely ridiculous. Christmas and Hanukkah are rooted in religious history, Kwanzaa is not. If it were celebrated in the middle of summer it wouldn't make a difference to anyone.

And... Solstice? Are we really trying to be that politically correct? Society is on a rocket-sled to hell. I hate this commercial.
