    Because it's polite.

Japan isn't just some funny little country filled with funny little fish eaters, it's one of America's most important trading partners and it is the location of most of America's first strike force in relation to North Korea and Red China. You don't go to somebody else's country and take a huge great dump over their traditions, not when you need them as a friend. Suppose that Japan got offended and threw US troops out? That would be VERY bad for America strategically.

The Emperor of Japan can pick his nose in his own palace and flick his snot at his own servants, but he wouldn't even dream of doing that in the White House. The same goes for Obama. He can fart in the Oval Office, but he's not going to do it in the thrown room in Japan.

Besides, it's not actually US tradition to put your hand over your heart when giving the pledge. It's just personal choice.

    Because he obviously hates America.

He is trying to turn it into a socialist, atheist .....etc state, in conjunction with the mole people and the space cows

    JUST as you suspected.
