do you approve the government on well fare and food stamps?

Sometimes...the system is abused...

One day soon there will be a lot more on food stamps. There will be more applications for section 8 too. I myself do not want to see people living on the streets or going hungry. Jobs are not that plentiful.The poverty level in 2009 was $27,570 for a family of 4 before taxes. That is $520 a week, then what do they bring home after cuts. Anyone working for that kind of money can barely exist so they do need help. No one should ever talk about only the lazy being on welfare. Years ago if a neighbor was in need the whole neighborhood helped them. Now most could care less. Thank goodness we have programs to help the hard working less fortunate.

Would you rather see a lot of small children starve to death? There are a lot of reasons to be on welfare besides laziness. Terrible illnesses cause some people to be unable to work. Those same illnesses may have taken all the money the person may have saved. Those are just two among many reasons. Use your head!
