Only disingenuous people believe that... Last time I checked 9-11 happened on Bush's watch. Bush put America as the target no 1 for all crazies the world over. Bush as you and I know was un unmitigated disaster. He was the WORST President ever to sit in the Oval Office. I am glad that his type will NEVER EVER be in charge of this nation again.

It will be our grandchildren who finally find out the truth, someday after all of us are gone.

Bush wasn't even well liked in Texas when he was Governor, and there were a lot of Texans who were mystified that America wanted him as a President. The media likes to portray the South as being staunchly pro-Bush when it is not.

I have never been so upset about foreign policy as I was in the Bush Years. Now, thank God, we have a smart man who can handle the office.

If Bush--or Cheney--were ever serious about tackling the issue of terrorism, they would've been paying closer attention to President Clinton's previous warnings about Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

Obama didn't cause the recession Maverick.... He was handed a country in despair, a country put in ruins by Bush and his oil companies making $40B a year in profit while Americans were being forced out of their homes and racking up more debt... 9/11 made gas stations price gouge up to $7 a gallon and that began an era of oil companies pushing us day by day by raising their prices to see when we'd fold... and they didn't attack us on 9/11 b/c of Obama, ya noob....

bush also helped bin laden flee the US the day of the bombing... he was here and they escorted him and his family out while every other US flight was canceled... see fahrenheit 9/11 for that exact reference...

did you know bush's daughter's wedding cost $400,000?... people were living in their cars... while the rising cost in energy which bush profited from is largely to blame, so is the housing meltdown, which wasn't necessarily bush's fault it happened but his fault for not doing anything about it before it became too late...

a disaster of that proportion is known years in advance...

and BKP, a father is supposed to pay for his daughter's wedding out of his own pocket... obama's inauguration bill is a tax i'll happily pay... my point was that Bush spent lavishly the earnings he made from oil profits that oil companies he was invested in gouged Americans at the pump and sent them to the poorhouse... regardless of whether or not he paid for it himself, it's still an irresponsible and insensitive spending of money...

So Mr Bush allowed 9/11 to happen 8 months into his presidency But Mr Obama is still working on his inherited mess 10 month into his presidency?

Bush is the best terrorist recruiting tool there ever was. By attacking entire countries for something a few renegados did they created many more would be terrorists that saw US attacks as attacks on their countries, culture, faith etc.
