Who thinks that what passes for a public information show 'Road Wars' is commentated on by a plonker?

Also do you think this show exposes the policemen in a poor light, considering the standards the public has the right to expect of our law enforcement agencies.

it shows how stupid the police are they are appearing as complete cretins and don't seem to realize it. in one show they wrote off three police cars chasing an escort that couldn't have been worth more than £300 and damage to parked cars was severe as well, the crooks only started driving dangerously when the police started chasing them, what's the point, I suppose they don't show the items where the police look really really stupid, driving without road tax is tax evasion not a crime why are the police even involved and an MOT that has expired a week ago is not major crime either as the mot only applies to the day it was done , the condition of the car for the other 364 days is not recorded, I was in Ft myers florida when a police car came up behind a guy who didn't have his lights on , the cop flashed him, turned the lights and siren on then shouted over his loudspeaker "turn your lights on dummy" and that's all it took, good policing with a sense of humor

As the commentator at best only offers puns and vague narration, I'd say it's pretty hard for a show that only depicts unedited (cut, but not distorted) clips that usually result in arrests via due process to really express anything in the light other than what it is.

It's always a pain to see the cops react to small things, but they always conduct themselves within the bounds of the law and will do their best in a given situation to maintain the peace.

That being said, yes the commentator is a plonker. But at least it's better than the American versions.

It is an excellent show and shows the Police in a good light.

A new series has recently started and the male commentator is no longer on it being replaced by a female

It shows our police in a good light. But the programme is still terrible and boring, after all, it's just a rip-off of the show 'cops'.
