When i try to download something like the insiminater (for the sims) it goes to windows media player when i open it

What is the extension of the file, apparently windows thinks it is a media file.
Go to the download, right click it, then 'save target as' or 'download link as', depending on your browser. Then when it ask where tell it which file to save it to.

Do A System restore, You Probably Have Downloaded Something To Do this, System Restore is, START BUTTON| , All Programs|, Accessories| System tools| System Restore, It will Un downloaded Anything To the date you pick Good Luck
