Acer Laptop got wet 3 days ago?
I have an acer aspire 1800
I spilt apple juice on the right side of it it will turn on but freezes on the acer (BIOS i believe) screen and the bar gets stuck 3/4 of the way.
I have managed to get it on but installed ubuntu dont know if this helps?

The best thing to do after getting liquid in an electronic device, such as computers and cell phones is to not turn them on, let it dry out. If the liquid is directly in contact with the motherboard it may cause connections that are not supposed to be created, make contact (liquid is a conductor) and that can cause serious damage, and maybe turn your Acer into a vegetable.
Let it sit for about a week and see if u can get it running properly on the original operating system
