Question about OS....?

When I change my OS,do I need to back up my files?

    It depends on how.

    If you are changing to mac the apple geniuses do it for you.

    but if its to windows 7 from a previous version of windows, it would be a safe idea.

    It is also just a safe idea to keep all you files stored on an external hard drive just in case something happens.

    I u mean by upgrading it, then yes. But if u dont want to, its ur choice lol
