Double major & minor vs 3 minors and random classes?
Okay, I'm not an over achiever I promise...I just have a passion for learning and try to take as much credits as I possibly can a semester.
I am a junior and I am currently trying to major in Public Relations. I can double major in Psychology if I stick with just psychology and PR classes without going "out of my field" e.g. doing art / music / political science stuff that I also want to do... If I go this route and stick with my field classes I'd have a double major in Psychology & Public relations w/ a minor in Spanish..
I'm just wondering if that would even be worth not being able to do "random classes." I am about 9 credits off of getting a double major so I'm so close (I have a minor already) but I'm wondering how much of a significance a double major actually has in the work field / graduate school application process? I'm applying for the AmeriCorps and PeaceCorps, do they pay any attention to that kind of stuff also?
