we were just wanting to know if bloody eyes were a sign of some kind of serious illness or disease for animals.

The vet will be able to answer your question. We can't see the eye and if we could we still wouldn't know what caused it or how to treat it.

It could be an eye infection. It tend to make them both blood shot and lazy. Take him to a vet. They will let you know if it's an infection or worse. Either way hopefully it's something that can be helped so the pup doesn't suffer. But you have to be responsible enough to take them to a vet and get your baby taken care of.

You do need someone to actually see the bloody eyes. It could be an infection, or the wind blowing hard into it, or even shampoo in it.
Take your puppy to see the vet who will advise.

Tapeworm is definitely going to make the dog tired. It is also the first day you had her so she is probably a little nervous, after all, she is a baby. I would wait until she is comfortable with you and the tapeworm is gone before I judge what she will be like.
