installing printer in to windows 7?!?!?

i have just recently updated to windows 7, before with windows vista my printer worked fine, however after installing and re installing it appears not to work. anyone know if there is anything i can do.

i have already set the printer as default!

    Go to the printers web site and get the new drivers

    It will work. But please take note! The full functionality and features might not be available if you didn't install the CD. That's why the printer always comes with a CD and updates the drivers in manufacturer's website for patch and fixes.

    The printer is probably now not compatible with windows7

    i had this problem and just bought a cheap compatible one
