Since Creation and Evolution have many of the same fatal flaws, don't both require faith?

No one saw the beginning of either, both ideas based on books or data supplied by humans and both have proclaimed things that turned out false?

    I honestly have studied evolution in intensity and on an identical time as there is data for micro-evolution there is particularly little for macro-evolution, the difficulty is the term wherein evolution from one species to a distinctive might ensue, we've not lived long sufficient to work out it honestly take place. As for the fossil checklist it does not extremely teach something different than the actuality that there have been distinctive alterations of particular creatures throughout the time of time, a lot of which nonetheless exist today from thousands and thousands of years in the past. As for meant lacking links to people those would desire to purely as honestly be alterations of human species very like we see today, we dont anticipate pygmies have superior into Masai warriors can we. on an identical time as none of this disproves evolution it purely factors out that we would desire to continually save an open recommendations. Now in spite of the fact that if evolution did take place and the 1st elementary cellular shaped from inanimate remember it nonetheless doesnt clarify the guidelines of physics that have been in place to permit this to take place, the guidelines that have been created on the great bang, the 'programming' that set all of this in action, that would in no way be defined yet to me it shows there is intelligence at the back of all of it, we would in no way comprehend what that intelligence is in our lifetime in spite of the fact that it would honestly clarify all the a million-in-a-gazillion danger occurrences that have introduced approximately the extraordinary beings we are with our unique wisdom optimal to all the marvellous debates we've over its origins (completely on Y/A it form of feels!)

    Well.. everything takes faith.

    Faith is in everything we do.. not just in what we believe.

    I have faith that I will pass a test tomorrow.. I don't have to pray to anyone about it.. I just believe that I can do it.. etc.

    Evolution = faith

    Creation = faith

    Life = faith

    To believe something is to have faith in it.

    Even pessimism is having faith. Faith in failing, or that nothing will get better.

    Your mind believes it and words are powerful. Esp when used with faith.

    nobody has ever seen a giant squid being born - does that mean it's not real? or it's fatal flaw in accepting that giant squids exist?

    Surely the evidence of their existance is enough without having to be there when one is born.

    The same is true of evolution. It's impossible to go back to the start but the evidence that evolution is a fact is overwhelming.

    Scientist.

    Religion requires a great amount of faith. Evolution is based on various branches of science to form a clear picture of the past. Yes there are small gaps akin to someone leaving out a few words in a paragraph, you can figure out the story by context. Religion on the other hand is pure hearsay and faith.

    There are no fatal flaws in evolution. There are parts not understood fully, and interpretations of evidence off either in time or use, but there are zero FATAL flaws. Sorry.

    Where did you go to school?

    If you're a product of public education, my deepest apologies. We really let you slip thru the cracks. If you went to private school, you ought to have missed fewer days, not cut so many classes, or have your parents ask for their money back

    Evidence.

    If you rush into the kitchen and find a crying toddler with crumbs on his mouth and shirt and see the broken cookie jar on the floor, you didn't have to be in the room when a crash was heard to figure out what happened. Evolution has evidence.

    "The beginning" isn't in the scope of evolution. Science is a self-correcting process, so if there are errors discovered, they are corrected.

    Creation and Evolution aren't even comparable.

  • 1 decade ago

    You're forgetting that evolution has a very large body of physical evidence and studies backing it up while creation has none.

    Evolution doesn't have a beginning. See Abiogenesis. Evolution has been directly observed.
