Seriously - it depends on the particular edition of the King James Version (KJV) that you are using, and also on what you consider to be "the middle chapter".

Physically - that is, based on number of pages before and after - as I recall the middle of the complete KJV is somewhere in Isaiah. The middle of the heavily-abridged 66-book KJV is probably in Psalms as others indicated.

If you mean the chapter with an equal number of chapters before and after, I haven't bothered to figure that out with regard to the complete KJV. I expect the answer who said Psalm 117 is correct for the heavily-abridged KJV, though, having differentiated between "middle chapter" and "middle verse". The two are very unlikely to be the same, and in fact I am surprised that they would be so close to the same.

As there are an even number of chapters, the middle falls in between Psalms 117 and 118. Usually Psalms 117 is considered the middle chapter (but Psalms 118 is also valid).

In the Protestant Bible with the traditional chapterization, the middle chapter is Psalm 117.

Psalm 118 is the most often cited, but that's actually not correct. That's the chapter that contains the middle verse.

The King James Bible has 31,174 verses — an even number — so there is no one "center" verse: the center would be a combination of the 15,587th and the 15,588th verses, which do fall within Psalm 118 (Psalm 118:8-9, to be exact).

Psalms, in any bible. As for actual chapter, it would depend on how many maps and other things are at the front and back of the bible.
