Cake outside in August?
For my August wedding I would like to have a tiered cake that is Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, and then white cake with buttercream icing. So I know my cake will be very heat susceptible.
Is it possible for me to store the cake in a freezer and then put it on display, and if so, how long do I have to wait for the cake to thaw, and then how long before I have to cut it before it starts to fall apart? ... ...
I am my baker.

The best person to answer this is the baker who makes your wedding cakes. Ask all these questions then. A friend, who is a baker, has specific instructions for each cake. I never would have guessed how some of them need to be treated. That's why I suggest you ask your baker.
Good luck in your marriage!
