Dancer opinions please....?
I've been in ballet for 12 years now and it's time to get serious about pointe. I'm dancing with one of my old teachers that knows me well and is aware that I want to get on pointe so she offers help. But I'm wondering if any pointe dancers out there have some tips and tricks that could get me there sooner. Like exercises and stretches to help strengthen my feet and ankles, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would think your teacher would be telling you this, but lots of releves and eleves at the barre. Work on your balance and core strength too. Make sure your technique on flat is clean with good alignment. You could try working with a theraband. Your teacher will show you how.

Well, if you happen to love dance, dancing in entrance of an viewers is constantly a laugh! Seven hours away regardless that... hmm... is that at the quickest transportation? Could you're taking a educate? Or a aircraft? Never stop a first-class possibility like this for the reason that of distance, UNLESS you're now not severe approximately dance.
