Car won't start, but it's not the battery. HELP!?
About a week ago I noticed that my car would immediately die when I tried starting it unless I put my foot on the gas pedal right away. Once it started, it ran fine. It began doing this maybe a couple of times in the first few days but became more frequent in the last couple of days, and even began doing it after having driven on the freeway when I would come to a stoplight and idle. Last night it completely died. I tried jumping it, and it didn't work. Tried checking all of the connections to the battery and that wasn't it; the problem is that it won't turn over. I just recently replaced the battery and the alternator. Perhaps it is the starter? Or something else? It's a 93 Nissan Sentra Se-R..
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoI need a good hip hop song for my class?
I teach a 5-8 beginning hip hop class and we're getting ready for our spring production. Our job is to portray a medical team (from the original Peter Pan) so I'm looking for a clean hip hop song with a strong beat, and possibly incorporating the idea of sirens in the background? However, all of the beats that I've looked up on the internet aren't strong enough to be used as a song by itself. Suggestions would be much appreciated.
4 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop9 years agoIs a 40in kicktail longboard good?
I've been wanting to learn how to longboard for a while now and am finally considering getting a board. I found a 40in kicktail with 71mm wheels. The kicktail looks like it has a good shape and isn't too narrow or anything. Should I get it? If not, what to recommend?
1 AnswerOther - Outdoor Recreation10 years agoinformation on the hawaiian nose flute?!!?
I'm in a Hawaiian culture class at my school and we have to do a final project so I decided to make a traditional Hawaiian nose flute! We have to have an archivable part of the project and there's no good information on the history and uses out there! Any inforrmation regarding uses in ceremonies, how it came about, what it's commonly used for and who generally plays it would be uber helpful!
Thanks! :)
2 AnswersPerforming Arts1 decade agoDancer opinions please....?
I've been in ballet for 12 years now and it's time to get serious about pointe. I'm dancing with one of my old teachers that knows me well and is aware that I want to get on pointe so she offers help. But I'm wondering if any pointe dancers out there have some tips and tricks that could get me there sooner. Like exercises and stretches to help strengthen my feet and ankles, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
2 AnswersPerforming Arts1 decade agohelp with understanding buddhism...?
Lately I've been reading a lot about buddhism but there's one thing I don't understand. (And it's probably something totally obvious!) But my question is what is the difference between Theravada buddhism and Mahayana buddhism? I know they're different schools of buddhism but can somebody help to explain this?
