Is a 40in kicktail longboard good?
I've been wanting to learn how to longboard for a while now and am finally considering getting a board. I found a 40in kicktail with 71mm wheels. The kicktail looks like it has a good shape and isn't too narrow or anything. Should I get it? If not, what to recommend?
Or should I go for a Pintail? Same lenght, 40 by 9".

Yes it's good.
Whether you want a kicktail or a pintail, it's up to you. Just go with the one you're more comfortable with.
