Defense Secretary of Great Britain says Obama's indecision is making it hard for NATO members to send troops?

When will democrats get a clue about the military?

Instead of taking three months to decide to ignore the military's recommendation...

Obama IS indecisive, but the only reason the Brits are complaining is because - just like the EU - they expect the US to do all the heavy lifting. They don't want to commit to troops unless they know we're going to send twice as many.

If NATO believes that sending more troops was the right decision, why don't they do it on their own? They don't need our permission. NATO is made up of sovereign countries that can escalate their own military involvement at will.

Obviously, NATO is having the same doubts about the mission that Obama has.

I suggest that a better plan is for the military to take suggestions from the executive branch. Recall that NATO is essentially US.

this would be a freakin' humorous tale!! Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize?? humorous tale!!! possibly he will win an Academy Award for "performing like a President that has some genuine balls!!" possibly he can win an award for not doing something, or extra helpful yet, for fking destroying this usa!! Obama is a humorous tale, as is the Nobel Peace Prize.

NATO wanted no part of the Afghan war to start with.

Obama doesn't lead anything. Reminds me of a manager that once told me he put off decisions until the last minute. He was afraid to get fired for the wrong answer. He was regarded as useless but kept his job.

What a phony excuse. What we do should have nothing to do with 3-4 guys that they will contribute.

I doubt if anyone wants to be Obama's ally.

At least he's giving it due consideration. Much more than any Republican would do.
