Why are congressional bills full of loop holes?

There are no loop holes in you home mortgage, auto purchase contract or purchasing anything you can imagine. The same goes for any type of agreement that one can think of. So why are they inserted in a health care bill that is over2,000 pages long for example? Who told them to insert them? Is congress so incompetent that they are afraid they might make a mistake?

Because people keep electing sleazy politicians. If we stood our ground and made these politicians actually show some morals, they'd either be voted out or learn to change their ways.

Stephan W is a bigger idiot the should be allowed. And yes, I read the first 1,073 pages of HR3542.

The additional crap thrown in by Reid and now the combined bill with over two thousand (2,000) pages is totally UN-acceptable.

But then again what could be expected?

Congress is not afraid of making a mistake, they do it every they are in session. What they are afraid of is that someone will actually read a bill. So everyone added their little piece of 'self-interest' to gain votes at home. All the while putting the screws to the rest of America's citizens.

With respect to the National Health Bill being pushed through the House and Senate. It has been long standing that 'they' (ie Elected Officials) -you know the ones, OUR EMPLOYEES- don't use the same plan as what they are purposing "We the People" be subjected to.

    Just something more to contemplate.

It's another way for Congress to rig the legislation so that their cronies and special interests can get the bulk of the loot.

They rewarded the bankers very handsomely, in spite of what they did to the economy, allowing the bankers to give themselve a 40% increase in salaries/bonuses.

Loop holes exist so that they can 'do' one thing, but still have the opening for 'doing' the opposite without pissing off either side (and losing their money).

  • Do you think there are loop holes because you actually read them OR because Fox news reporters say there are??

they want to make it easier for them to get out if someone tries to blame them for ****.

a car dealer doesn't give two shits if you hate them, but one congress member per million Americans is pretty scary.
