It is really hard to know where both teams are gonna be come playoff time but the Saints have looked inconsistent. Sometimes the Saints look untouchable sometimes they look pretty bad against some pretty bad teams so I think Hurricane Vike is heading their way. I think the Vikings are the best team in the NFC and here is why.

    1. A better defensive line. New Orleans has wilted against strong running teams, but the Vikings' Williams Wall continues to stuff ballcarriers. Seattle had 4 yards last week rushing. That isn't a typo. Check the box score - 4 yards!! Then when opponents try to pass on Minnesota, Jared Allen cleans up the quarterbacks. It is not a matter of opinion that the Vikings have bar none the best defensive line in football.

    2. A better lead back. The Saints' three-man committee has been effective, but it's hard to see their front seven containing Adrian Peterson in a playoff game, be it in the Superdome or Metrodome. That is without mentioning Chester Taylor who is better than most of the starting running backs in the NFL.

    3. An equally good QB. For as much attention Drew Brees receives, Brett Favre might be playing at a level we've never seen from him. It also should be remembered that Favre has won before on the biggest stage. I don't see anything stopping Favre's success. The offense is perfect for him and although they fly under the radar the Vikings recievers are getting better.

Those three factors are the most important to a team. Stop the run, run the ball yourself, and have intelligent experienced quarterback play with reciever who can catch the ball. Rarely do you get beaten when you have all those things working for you. There is still alot of season left and anything can happen but I like the Vikings right now. I just think there are not many holes in their armor...wish they still had Sharper though. That is the one thing I have to tip my hat to the Saints on...they do have Darren Sharper.

Maybe coming for them, but the Saints will win!! They survived Hurricane Katrina, and that was more massive than anything Hurricane Vike can give them!!!

I think the Saints have too many weapons. I'm a Favre fan, but The Saints "have it going" this year. They're for real. A team doesn't go 10-0 by a fluke. Monday night should go a long way in gauging how good both teams really are. It might be a preview of the Super Bowl.

Saints might be a little over rated, but the vikings are completely over rated. Saints would crush them 45-13
