Question about my GPS?
Can your GPS be effected by cloud cover? I'm at home now on a very cloudy day, but my GPS thinks I'm at a location about 15 miles away.

Clouds should not affect your GPS receiver that much. I suspect the GPS receiver thinks you are where you last turned it off (and had a position fix). It is most likely that the GPS receiver has not received a position fix at your house. Are you inside? Being inside a building will make it difficult for the GPS receiver to receive signals from the satellites. Take the GPS receiver outside away from the house for about 15 minutes, and by then it should have a good position fix.
