What should I say to my best firends sister on Thanksgiving?

How about this --"I know it is hard to think of being thankful today considering the loss we are both feeling. But, I want you to know that I AM thankful for your friendship and that I AM thinking of you today and hope that we will both eventually find peace in our lives as we go through this time together." That is what I would say. And to you I would say -- I am so sorry for your loss. The best thing you can do to honor your friends memory is to live a happy and fulfilled life. I know you don't think it will ever happen without your friend but it will in time. Peace be with you my friend!
