Well, I have played the lead in at least 4 plays and good job on getting the part. Something that I've learned from acting is that you need to become your character before going on stage. Gain cofidence by getting to be friends with the rest of the cast. As long as you love tyhe people your putting the play on with, you'll be confident. You have to relize that you got the part for a reason, except how awesome you are. You must be good or you wouldn't have gotten the part. Just keep that in mind as you are practicing and preforming. Imagine that you are being Gina in real life and act as if the audience is not there. Think like your just playing a game with your friends and you are playing an extreme game of "house". You'll do fine.

Well I was in joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat at my school .
When I got nervous I just took alot of deep breaths and a few minutes before the show I just had a minute to myself to gather my thought ands was like " ok ... in this part of the play I do thi " blah blah blah . And You wouldnt get that nervous anyways because on stage the lights are too bright so you just see shadows of the audience . You dont really see there faces . You will do fine .
