What color can or be the mother of the bride/?

my sis is getting married n my mom was wondering wat color should be? becuz she is giving my sister away for her wedding. n she does not want nothing dark or very light thxz :)

    I have seen a lot of blues and greens. Good idea to not go dark, we don't need it looking like a funeral.

    She should go with a neutral color but something with a pattern, so its not dull
