Round to one decimal place question?
Rounding 44.449 to one decimal place... do you just look at the second decimal place? Making it 44.4 .. or are you suppose to see that 9 rounds 4 to 5, which would then make the answer 44.5?

no, the answer would be 44.4 if your rounding it to the nearest decimal place. The 9 doesn't make a difference, it would only if you were rounding to 2 decimal places.
= 44.4

if i round it to one decimal place it would be 44.4
but since there is .49 in the problem it is more accurate that it would be 44.5
