Do they take taxes out of your check even if you only make 2 cents?
I just went to work for my one day a week and clocked in and then when I went to check the schedule I noticed that I didn't suppose to work.. so I clocked out with 1 minute of work time under my belt. ..heh.
Anyways..I calculated that I should make about 2 cents on my next check (I have no other days this week). So I was wondering how do they split that up for the taxes needed to take out of it? Mainly, would I have atleast 1 cent remaining? Would I get my full 2 cents since it's so low of an amount?
2 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoRound to one decimal place question?
Rounding 44.449 to one decimal place... do you just look at the second decimal place? Making it 44.4 .. or are you suppose to see that 9 rounds 4 to 5, which would then make the answer 44.5?
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoMargin of error for this interval?
I know the answer, but was hoping someone could explain to me the formula of how they got it?
A medical researcher measured the pulse rates (beats per minute) of a sample of randomly selected adults and found the following student's T-based confidence interval: with 95.00% confidence, 65.682904 < u(Pulse) < 70.623608
What's the margin of error for this interval?
The answer is 2.5, but I would like to know how you come up with that?

3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoIf I'm double majoring can it be in two different colleges, within the University?
For example..If I was admitted to the College of Natural Sciences in UT... and wanted to double major, could I do that with a subject that's at the College of Liberal Arts? Or would I have to choose another subject in Natural Sciences?
4 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoDid myspace get rid of the grade my professor feature? If so why?
Just wondering..that's usually all ever go there for and now with pickaprof needing membership, and myspace gone that only leaves ratemyprof left >.<
Anyways..I just noticed that the link is gone on myspace so I was wondering if they did indeed do away with that feature?
1 AnswerMySpace1 decade agoTrying to burn a DVD but my DVD burner isn't working no matter what program?
Anyone know what's wrong or how to fix this? It worked a few days back but now it doesn't.
Whenever I try to burn onto DVD it is saying I just have an ImageRecorder and asks me to save file as ISO. I've always just used this drive for burning DVDs so I don't know why suddenly it isn't letting me? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the whole drive and still having the problem.
1 AnswerOther - Hardware1 decade agoBlue wavy lines in Word 2007 are not showing up?
I'm in this class in school where we have to do an assignment in Word and part of it going over all the blue wavy lines and correcting them. Blue lines indicate wrong word usage...there,their,they're..things like that.
Anyways..there are no blue lines showing up in my document. I know there are errors because it shows us in an example where the first one is(in the book). Is there some sort of button that I need to click to turn the feature on or what?
1 AnswerHomework Help1 decade agoSo I plan on transferring to UT Austin in the Spring..?
But I was wondering in their admissions process, do they look at my GPA at my current school, or just the GPA of my transferable courses?
I've taken around 4-5 non-transferable classes and they actually drag my overall GPA down quite a bit. So that's why I was wondering.
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoI haven't taken a math class since 2004..?
I need to take Calculus to transfer to the university I want to go to, but I was wondering that since I haven't done math in awhile should I take something like College Algebra first? Or are they relatively the same, in terms of difficulty to where I could just jump into Calculus?

I was thinking our two first names and the date we started dating.. "Name & Name 01/01/01"
Does anyone do that with the date they started dating? I've heard many that do the wedding date but I don't know the wedding date yet so yeah... Just curious.
