Blue wavy lines in Word 2007 are not showing up?

I'm in this class in school where we have to do an assignment in Word and part of it going over all the blue wavy lines and correcting them. Blue lines indicate wrong word usage...there,their,they're..things like that.

Anyways..there are no blue lines showing up in my document. I know there are errors because it shows us in an example where the first one is(in the book). Is there some sort of button that I need to click to turn the feature on or what?

I haven't got Word 2007, but by clicking on "Help", entering "Show or hide wavy underlines" in the search box, I got this:

"1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling & Grammar tab.

    2. Make sure the Check spelling as you type and/or Check grammar as you type check boxes are selected.

    3. Select or clear the Hide spelling errors in this document or Hide grammatical errors in this document check box. "

See if it works for you.
