That's really great! Think about stuff you're interested in and start volunteering.

Things like volunteering as an umpire or ref in sport, working for welfare groups etc. Do some google searches about community groups in your area that cater for things you have an interest in and give them a ring. Most community welfare groups are understaffed and desperate for people to come and help out a few hours a week and it makes you feel good to give something back!

First, figure out what YOU enjoy - gardening, animals, nature, working with children, sports, etc. You'll put more into it, and get more out of it if you volunteer in an are you're interested in. There are tons of ways to help once you know this. For example,I like gardening, supporting the military, and kids; so I do volunteer gardening at a local nature park, collect toiletries and other supplies to send to soldiers through Any Soldier. com, and tutor kids for free. Also, just ask at places you admire, like the library, hospital, animal shelter etc.

Volunteer work is the best thing for you to do right now. Call some local shelters or schools or nursing homes and ask to do some volunteer work with them. You gotta build up connections somehow so start ! :D

How about volunteering at local elementary or preschools? You could work at a library or help run craft activities. There's lots of stuff to do.

i always see groups of people doing it and it would help save the environment

send thing to soliders from the area

recycle..... give money to homeless.
