Christian, can you ruminate on this apologetic quotation?

"If all the world were Christian, it might not matter if all the world were uneducated. But as it is, a cultural life will exist outside, whether it exists inside or not.

To be ignorant and simple now, not to be able to meet the dull-witted unbeliever on their shaky ground, would be to throw down our weapons and to betray our uneducated brethren who have, under God, no defense but us against the pseudo-intellect attacks of the smelly atheistic heathen.

Good philosophy exists if, for no other reason, because bad philosophy, such as from the poverty-minded atheist, needs to be answered. The cool intellect must work not only against cool pseudo-intellect on the other side, but against the muddy heathen-pagan mysticism, which deny intellect altogether.

Most of all, perhaps, we, as orthodox Christians, need intimate knowledge of the past; the learned life is, for some (like Atheists For Lunch Bunch), a duty". C.S. Lewis

    C.S. Lewis was mentally deranged.

I guess that's why he thought god was real.
