What is this weird bubbling sound in my ear?

It almost sounds like shampoo bubbles popping in my ear. I don't really have any other symptoms to indicate an illness, just the bubbly sound. I tried taking Sudafed, hoping that would help, it didn't

Does anyone have any ideas what it is, or what would help?

Thanks!

Sounds like you have some water trapped in your ears. When you are in the shower give your ears a good rinse under the spray and wipe your finger around the ear (Do not put your finger into your ear canal). If you still have trouble with this after a couple of days go to the doctors or nurse practitioner and have them look in your ear to see if there is an obstruction at all.

My personal expercience has had an astonishing outcome, as I can now discerne these sounds AND their sources. As an hobbist DJ and a meter reader employement I have come across many areas and things, not so much accidents but so, this sound IS NOT from inside of you. Its a supersharp noise much like a cricket that irritates you so much you think it is you who are producing it from your guts. Its a high frequency sound produced by some interfering audio devices nearby, electrical circuitry (this one the rarest) and the crickets themselves!!

It could be an inner ear infection, sinus infection, excess wax build up, or water down in your ear canal, or a combination of any of them. If it's an infection you should be taking antibiotics. You can flush your ear with warm water to remove excess wax, and if it's water in your ear canal, it should drain out in a day or two unless it's being held in by excess wax.
