If all right-wing policy was made reality how long do you really think you would be allowed?

In the US, right wing ideology (economically) has been policy for 29 years uncontested and shows no sign of vulnerability other than self-destruction. Hitler said it could last a thousand years. We've only got 971 to go and we're already more than twice as far along as Hitler ever made it. It might be more possible than you think and at least Americans, if no one else, have already demonstrated an exceptionally high threshold of tolerance for willful self-destruction. Based on the last 29 years, I conclude there are no foreseeable limits to what Americans will accept or with what they will comply as long as ideology compels it.

I agree, it wouldn't take long. Personally, I beleive both parties are whack lol. However, even if the state imposes gun control, how many will be obliged to follow it? Not many, and that is why the goverment you are describing would ultimatly fall because the people would not tolerate such a goverment and would bring their M16's and AK-74's to Washington.

My choice would be the AA-12 if that situation happened :P

I've never heard of any conservatives demanding that someone have sex to have a baby. Also, it's the liberals who want the government controlling medical procedures,not right-wingers. Allowing free expression of religion is not the same as forcing adherence to a particular religion. Right-wingers have never said one has to serve to vote. Liberals and Right-wingers both voted for the patriot act, obviously, since if they didn't, we would have the patriot act. Right wingers have no issue with collective bargaining. It's the liberals who want to take away the secret ballet in the unions, not the conservatives.

You are exaggerating quite a bit on many things. Also, many of the things you state apply equally to the democrats.

To me, the bottom line is that we need to get the government down to a manageable size and take the power back. Government is supposed to be our servant, not us theirs. Both parties interfere in personal matters where they do not belong and neither party really wants to perform the tasks government should be doing.

Honestly, I think most problems would end with a huge "I told you so" before a recovery law was passed. Maybe a few towns will keep their new wacko policies(though some already have them).

Uh, conservatives are FOR legal gun ownership. It is the liberals who want to take everyone's guns, just like Germany during the 1930's.

this is a loaded question. Last time I checked NY strict gun laws, leftist commies, NJ leftist commies, Washing DC ,leftist commies, Illinois leftist commies. They want people who obey the law to be defenseless. Have some one come in to your home to rob you and call the police and see what happens. have some one come in to your home and you are armed and see what happens.

Last I checked the left is trying to take guns away more than the right. In reality, both parties are really good at taking away our freedoms.
