what is love, is this it?

theres this guy, he is my bestfriend but i cant stop thinking about him, he is always on my mind, he told me he loved me the other day (in a friendly way) and i told him i felt the same way, since then he is all i can think about. i know i dont want a relationship with him, we have been down that path before (he used to like me) a relationship with us just wouldnt work. i love him so much and just want to be around him all the time, when i see him i instantly get happier, he means the world to be and i love him.. why dont i want to be with him?

    hmm... so you really like him but you don't really wanna be with him?

    i think this is called 'loving someone but youre still nor sure yet' kind of thing :P

    i like someone, too, but i know that i'm never gonna be with him. so even if i like him so much... i dont wanna be with him. because i know he's not for me. he's way older than me... and there are other things too...

    it's kay to like someone. liking someone doesn't mean you have to be with that someone. liking is experienced by everyone... not just you :)

    Isn't friendships so warm and fuzzy? yes you can love a friend and think about him daily. I did for 20 years. Dated him briefly and now we are only acquaintances. Do you think the reason why he's on your mind is cause he told you he loved you. be honest with him if your not into a relationship and enjoy the sweet ride knowing he is your friend. Never take things for granted and always keep your communication flowing. If it's meant to be it will happen on it's own. Many women will envy your close friendship with him. You might not want to date him cause hes either too much a friend or cause he's made mistakes in the past and you know it. Good Luck J

    You are infatuated with him? You are obsessed?

    Maybe you are afraid to get hurt, so it isnt that you dont want to be with him but you are afraid of losing him again?

    If you BOTH loved each other (in more than a friendly way) then you would be together and would be able to find a way to make it work.

    By the sounds of it though, you sound like you are just teased by his presence.

    you have a crush to me , when you are boy friends you feel that way or you have a big crush , but to me love comes when you live with someone share thoughts go through little rough times and always there for each other . as time passes your crush wears out but then comes in love and you see how much you really care about that person . so you are not in love .

    uhmmm.. it maybe love. or it could just be you love spending time with him. best bet i would try the relationship again. just cuz is didnt work when u guys were younger dosent neccessarly mean it wont work now u know? then u will know for sure.
