ok dont take this in a gross way this is really meant to b scientific:
you know how sulfur smells like rotten eggs? now, when you fart and it sometimes smells like rotten eggs, does this mean u ate sumthing with sulfur in it?
i really wanna know the answer please dont take this gross please

Good catch. That's exactly what smelly farts mean. Sulfur exists in many foods - vegetables, meats, beans, eggs... even watermelon. As the foods are digested some of the sulfur is joined into hydrogen sulfide gas - rotten egg gas. The same stuff you smell near volcanoes.
As a meaningless aside, that's why I call those "volcanic farts" - not to be gross, either.

ok after i was done laughing i found out that no if your fart smells like rotten eggs that means you just had eatn something that made your stomach upset i hope this helps you.
