How is a PPSAT score of 1910 for a high school freshman?
My district (in Texas) requires all high school freshmen to take the Practice PSAT. We just got our scores back and altogether I scored a 1910.
Writing: 750
Math: 580 (multiple-choice and gridded answer)
Reading: 610
This is out of 2400 points, by the way. I'm just wondering how this ranks and if I should keep aiming to get higher and higher (perhaps by actually studying next time?) LISD also requires all sophomores to take the PSAT and then juniors and seniors can take the SAT. I'm extremely happy with this, as we did take a junior-level SAT, but I'm just wondering how this ranks against juniors and seniors in high school. My research online shows very little, but it was provided that the average score of a LISD junior is just over 1500. Also, how does this rank against other states and districts? Thank you!

Pretty good. =)
My PSAT score as a freshman was:
Writing 72
Math 63
Reading 66
Composite 201 (97th percentile compared to juniors)
An aquaintance took it as a sophomore the same year and scored a 194, which was the 94th percentile. Your score's pretty close to that, so you're probably scored higher than about 94% of all juniors. Congrats!

thats really good as a freshman. Colleges mainly look at CR and math scores so try improving on those but you score seems great for a freshman and theres always room for improvement.
